Appoint your
e-invoicing
ASP before
the deadline.

UAE e-invoicing is now mandatory. If your annual revenue is AED 50 million or more, you must appoint an FTA-approved service provider by 30 October 2026 and go live on 1 January 2027. Miss it, and the FTA fines you automatically.

The Ministry of Finance is rolling out the mandate by company size. Your revenue decides your dates — and the first wave is appointing providers now.

Go Live

What's changing — and why

Your PDF invoices stop being legal documents.

From your go-live date, invoices sent as PDF, Word, or email no longer count as valid tax documents under UAE law. Here’s the shift.

The good news: you don’t need to understand any of the technical part. That’s exactly what we handle.

The cost of waiting

What non-compliance costs you

The FTA enforces these penalties automatically once you’re in scope. They stack — every month, every invoice.

Not appointing a pre-approved ASP by your deadline

AED 5,000

per month, every month you delay

Sending invoices in the wrong format (PDF, Word, email)

AED 100

per invoice — capped at AED 5,000/month

Not reporting a system failure to the FTA within 2 days

AED 1,000

per day until reported

AED 10,000+

One month of non-compliance can cost your business over ten thousand dirhams. The cost of acting now is a fraction of that.

The path to compliance

Frequently asked questions

Yes. The UAE e-invoicing mandate applies to all businesses that issue B2B or B2G invoices, regardless of VAT registration status. If you invoice other businesses or government, you’re in scope.

No. The Unibox connector works with your existing ERP or accounting system — SAP, Oracle, Zoho, Tally, Xero, QuickBooks, Odoo — with no core system changes.

We can still get you compliant through a simple web portal. No software required — you can create and send compliant invoices directly.

Typically 3–4 weeks from onboarding to go-live for a standard setup. We give you a precise timeline on your readiness call.

Pricing depends on your invoice volume and current setup. You’ll get a transparent number on your free readiness call — no hidden fees, no surprise tiers.

An Accredited Service Provider is a company approved by the UAE Ministry of Finance to connect your business to the FTA’s Peppol network for compliant invoice transmission. You cannot participate in e-invoicing without one.

AED 5,000 per month for not appointing an ASP, AED 100 per non-compliant invoice (capped at AED 5,000/month), and AED 1,000 per day for not reporting system downtime within two days. The penalties stack quickly.
